• Activity- Activity is an entry point for the user to interact with the application's current context
• Intent facilitate communication/action between different components of android
• Service- Service is a component that allows the tasks to run in the background
• Broadcast Listener - allows systems to deliver the broadcasts/messages to the app to perform a certain action
• Content Provider - manages writing/reading data in storage locations.It also gives you access to share data across apps
